On HoldWW1 Post Card Photo of Canadian Lieutenant of the 49th BN CEF
Wound stripe and two Medal ribbons clearly visible, possible DSO and BWM
Possibly T/Lt Henry Hobbs DSO, MC - needs research
WW1 Post Card measuring 3.5" x 5.5". Photo of a CEF Lt with 49th BN CEF collars and buttons. Two medal ribbons are visible. I believe they are the DS and BWM. This picture may be of T/Lt Henry Hobbs DSO, MC 49th BN CEF. Lt Hobbs' DSO citation reads as follows:
For conspicious gallantry on many occassions, notably whe, after working for half an hour under heavy shell fire he rescued a man from a dug out which had been blown in. He has since been wounded.
