LCpl Thomas Shutt was born on 14 March 1882 in Briarsfield, Lancashire, England. He attested with the 20th BN on 28 Nov 1914 in Toronto, Ontario. He served with A Coy 20th BN CEF in France from 15 Sept 1915 to 13 Aug 1916. He was wounded (GSW in Thigh and Knee) on 11 April 1916.
