Defence Medal; Canadian Voluntary Service Medal, with Overseas Bar; 1939-45 War Medal; Canadian Memorial Cross, Geo VI (engraved F.O. W.D. Wall J41664), all swing mounted on pin bar.
FO (N) Walter D. Wall was from Toronto, Ontario. He was with #19 Operational Training Unit. He was a member of the crew of a Whitely aircraft on a cross country training flight on 17 October 1944 when the plane disintegrated in mid air and crashed at East Murton in England. He was 20 years of age. he is burined in the Stonefall Cemetery, Harrogate, Yorkshire.
The group is sold with an RCAF Pilot's Flying Log Book; Flying Log Book for aircrew other than pilot and an RCAF sight Log Book; a B/W photo of FO Wall and 2 additional photos of FO Wall grave marker at Stonefall Cemetery.
