On HoldA Major’s Cold War Era Army Air Corps Service Dress Tunic and Trousers
This is a Cold War Era Army Air Corps major’s Service Dress jacket and trousers tailored by Moss Bros, Covent Garden, 1962. The jacket has been used and the button holes are a little worn. The material has thinned around the facings. The uniform is still in good condition, complete with alloy metal rank badges, staybrite buttons, embroidered bullion pilots wings, cloth parachute wings, Air Dispatch Wings and medal ribbons for the General Service Medal, Campaign Service Medal and UN Cyprus Medal.
The trousers are worn through service use. The bottom of the zipper has been repaired, however, the is a tear on the zipper and it is not in working order. There is alos a small repair under the right pocket area and an approximate 1 mm moth hole at the bottom left leg.
The trousers are named in ink to Capt C.F.L. Mastie
