Major Julian Boyd M.D. C.A.M.C was born in Norwich, Ontario in 1888. He was the son of Charles E and Marian S. Boyd. Educated at Simcoe Public and High Schools and a graduate of the University of Toronto Medical School (1909). He attested with the CAMC ( B Section 2nd Field Ambulance) in 1916 and only served in Canada (Camp Borden and Quebec). He was demobilized in 1919. He maintained a medical practice in Simcoe Ontario from 1912. His CASF was authorized in 1930 (GO 8). He is also entitled to the Colonial Auxiliary Forces Officer Decoration which was awarded in 1930 (GO 7).
